Dr. Mohamed Alhammadi

Dr. Mohamed Alhammadi is a distinguished and licensed lawyer in the United Arab Emirates, with extensive legal expertise gained across both the U.A.E. and the United States. Before founding Dr. Alhammadi Law Firm, he served at the U.A.E. Ministry of Justice within the Legislation and Governmental Disputes Department, where he reviewed draft laws and legislation and represented the U.A.E. government before the Federal Supreme Court and Courts of Appeal.

He possesses extensive experience advising corporations and institutions on business law, regulatory compliance, and operational legal matters, in addition to handling criminal and economic criminal cases. His areas of expertise include evaluating investment opportunities, corporate structuring and entity selection (including free zone formations), mergers and acquisitions, private placements, securities matters, investment banking transactions, as well as devising and implementing exit strategies and corporate best practices.

Dr. Alhammadi leads the firm’s U.A.E. litigation practice, managing a diverse portfolio of complex litigation and arbitration cases, encompassing commercial disputes, contractual claims, employment matters, construction-related cases, and criminal law.

Academically, he holds a Doctor of Juridical Science (S.J.D.) from Georgetown University Law Center in Washington, D.C., the highest degree in the legal field. He also earned a Judicial Certificate from the Judicial Training and Studies Institute in Abu Dhabi and graduated top of his class with a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from the United Arab Emirates University.

Beyond his professional practice, Dr. Alhammadi serves as an Associate Professor at the College of Law, United Arab Emirates University. He has also served as Legal Advisor to the University Chancellor and Board of Trustees, reflecting his distinguished academic and professional standing.
